Hmm... question:
If portals are created because of intense religious actions and so on, if an immortal had an intense, religious connection to a particular cathedral, could they open a portal in it? Like, only that one immortal could open the portal because of that connection?

Launa? Are you using the old lexicon (verbiage!) here or do you really mean open a Portal?
Is your question:
Can a Terrapyre or a Celestial, who has an intense connection to a cathedral (now then forever), harness the Grail there? Even if normally, that holy place would not be considered part of the "network"?
...or...
Can a Portal (a door to another world) be opened in a holy cathedral if a Celestial has a connection to the place?

No problem. I just wanted to be clear. That being the case -- EJ? I'm also very interested in your answer.

Okay, I've got a question for everyone. Or perhaps, several.
The Grail drops right next to a Cathedral. A Terrapyre grabs it and goes inside the Cathedral. But... it's dawn. Mass is going on. The Cathedral is all full up of Humans.
We've said before that once a Terrapyre brings the Grail into a Cathedral, no other Terrapyres or Celestials can get inside.
What happens if there are Humans inside?
What about Terrapyres or Celestials already inside?
Can Humans get into the Cathedral after the Grail has been brought inside? Do the doors physically 'lock up,' or is it a force that keeps only Terrapyres and Celestials out?
Anyone? Input?

"Okay, I've got a question for everyone. Or perhaps, several." And I have several answers! ;D "The Grail drops right next to a Cathedral. A Terrapyre grabs it and goes inside the Cathedral. But... it's dawn. Mass is going on. The Cathedral is all full up of Humans." The Terrapyre busts in but the moment he crosses the threshold he is outside of normal, Human space-time. He cannot be seen by the Humans. The cathedral appears empty to him. Surreal and shimmering. He is alone with his heart and mind and a sacred space-time with the Grail (see "Immortal Waking: Vrej" in the Players Handbook). "We've said before that once a Terrapyre brings the Grail into a Cathedral, no other Terrapyres or Celestials can get inside. What happens if there are Humans inside?" See above. Now, if the Terrapyre threw open a door or crashed through a window to get inside, the Humans would see these damages happen. But the second the Immortal crosses inside, he disppears. Like, if Humans were looking, they'd see the shadow of him leaping toward the window, or they'd see him running up the stairs, but after he crosses within, they'd only see the shattering window and the open door. "What about Terrapyres or Celestials already inside?" They would be forced out violently. Blown out like an explosion. The center of the force being where ever the other Immortal entered with the Grail. They might be blown through a wall or a window or anything. They would be visible to Humans, btw. "Can Humans get into the Cathedral after the Grail has been brought inside? Do the doors physically 'lock up,' or is it a force that keeps only Terrapyres and Celestials out?" It is a force that keeps other Immortals out. Humans can come and go as they please Helpful? EJ
