Maxwell moved through the Oregon State foster system with his "brother" Morgan in the early 2000s. They both only have spotty memories of their early childhoods and though they remember different parents they also remember each other before they were brought into state custody. Maxwell is wilder and more risk-seeking Maxwell with a flashy style and quick, yappy temper. He idolizes Morgan even though he teases him about being quiet and stoic. Maxwell is two years younger.
Maxwell joins the Tribe (a gang of Terrapyres led by Tyger) in 2015 just a few days after Morgan.
