Chorus' primary Skill is Cloak, the ability to conceal all vital statistics (weapon and armor, skills, whether or not the immortal is holding the Grail, etc.) from other Immortals. This character has been assigned to writer Brianne DiMarco. Chorus is currently featured in: "Immortal Dreaming" (available in the Mardi Gras 3000 Player's Handbook); "Time Slip" and "Nutty Nutty Burning Bright" in the Crusade Battle Anthology.

The character Chorus is briefly (though importantly) featured in ?Mardi Gras 3000: Elijah.? I worked with both Brianne O?Neil and Pahmela Angel to iron out the few details I needed as both of them have written about Chorus. In the novel, Chorus comes across as reserved and of few words. She respects Elijah?s privacy to the utmost but files away every detail and makes her own conclusions. She does not ask questions. She supports her friend as she is and is simply there for her should she need to reveal anything or ask for help or advice. Chorus is not above offering respectful, brief advice without pushing for confirmation of facts.

She is very observant, a good listener but generally doesn't offer her opinion--or enter into a conversation--unless she's asked. She isn't interested in talking just to talk. Chorus' image includes a moth covering her mouth. This symbolizes her ability to communicate with all winged creatures, especially moths and bats. Moths, in particular, are very drawn to her and will often be found in her presence. She is a deadly warrior and has mastered the Cloak Skill. This is no accident. Chorus keeps to herself to the point of being seen as anti-social by those who do not know her well. Her secondary skill is Vanish. She has a small but is well-muscled build, lithe and fast. She's about 5' 3" tall. She has an easy comradery with Elijah and is very empathetic with Angelus. In fact, Chorus is one of the only Terrapyres Angelus will allow to see him in distress or pain. Her passion--aside from her pursuit of the Grail--is music and she can easily spend hours at the piano keyboard either playing pieces from other composers or composing her own. This is her preferred method of communication. Words fail her. Music never does. She is aware of the effect her music has on others, especially their moods. When taken by a burst of creativity, she doesn't stop to think of the hour or whether or not it's convenient for her lairmates. They have come to expect being woken up by her playing and know not to disturb her when she is at the piano. During her lifetime, she has been a patron of several composers. More recently, she has been a music producer. Here are some classical music pieces that Chorus likes and which also will give writers a sense of her personality. List courtesty of Pahmela Angel. Bach's "Courante" The complexity of the notes. They arrive in layers and never fully disperse. The silence held and expanded. The sadness laced with emotion, maybe happiness but just as likely tragedy. To hear Abada H. Chorus sat cross-legged in the leather armchair, breathing slowly. She had her eyes closed, her fingertips gently massaging her temples. No, the Grail hadn't dropped very close by, but it was close enough that they could all feel it, a heaviness pressing down on them. She opened her eyes, glancing at Angelus's unapproving face. He will see, she thought.
Jade's sobbing had quieted down, slowing to uneven breathing--jags of air rushing in, then swiftly rushing out moments later. Chorus stood up from the chair, and walked down the hall to Jade's room, silently unlocking the door. She walked back to the main room, sitting down at her piano. She heard something hit the table, and she turned to see Elijah spinning a quarter, then slapping it down before it could stop spinning and fall. She seemed to feel Chorus's eyes on her, and she gave a half-smile. "Sorry," she said, not really meaning it. She threw the quarter across the room, and leaned back into the couch, crossing her arms. Patience was not one of her virtues.
The pads of Chorus's fingers lightly touched the keys, and the notes began the fall into place slowly, starting soft. She could feel the Neutral Hour begin to slowly fade away, and she closed her eyes as she became lost in the music, note after note building with intensity. She reopened her eyes as she heard Jade's footsteps, uneven as they came down the hallway.
Jade appeared through the doorway, looking disheveled and out of breath. She sank against the wall next to the piano and folded into herself--her knees were pulled into her chest, her arms lay on top of her knees, and her head lay on her arms. She leaned against the piano, drowning her own thoughts in the music. Chorus could feel the girl's breathing returning to normal, and she closed her eyes again, her thoughts wandering away from the present, floating until there was only peace, and calm, and the intensity of the music coming from her fingertips.

I feel odd posting on the Chorus thread (as the Chorus character expert) with Kathleen as my avatar... Hmm. Cris, oh Master of the Sourcebook... Chorus was 15 in 1917. She was born in 1902. Brianne
