You're very welcome, Brianne. I have to be honest, your comic ("Under the Influence: Part One: Edge of Night") is the only full-length comic I've seen from the Mardi Gras 3000 team so far but it was more than enough. The combination of Jennifer's script and your blocking and shots were simply perfect. I also heard (from a good source *cough* Angel *cough*) that you even allowed Eric Chen at DH picked apart the comic to get the total industry pro feedback thing going on. Grrl... that took guts. (I also heard he was so hot for the comic he was weeping that he can't hire you for DH.) I want to support that effort.
MG, thank you. You know... that's my actual goal in life. Go get 'em. For a living (meaning to pay the bills, you know?) I work as a producer. All I do is go and get. I'm in charge of making the dream reality and doing the grunt work. Not "going and getting 'em" simply isn't an option if I want to keep my job. I want to bring that to MG3K. And, this is the first venue that has allowed me the freedom and the platform to branch out on my own and create and not just be doing someone else's busy work.
In all? Glad to be here in such great company.
Summer

Summer, I did let Eric look over UTI: Edge of Night... He gave feedback page by page, which was incredible. He was honest, but not harsh, and his insight was invaluable. I'm working on the adaption of Blood Trade right now (started shooting tonight!) but once it's finished (September 7th) I'll be implementing all of Eric's suggestions for Edge of Night.

Thank you, Launa.
I took a lot of time working on the original texture, which is comprised of several different feather and wing photos. I knew what I was looking for in the catalog, but I also knew that it wasn't there. I plan on continuing the line, with several 'classic' colors, and then also more like the bright green and black (which sold after being out of peer review for less than five hours). Right now the black and the white wings are doing the best for sales.

EJ, thank you for pointing this out and so reminding me to:
Brianne? Thank you -- publicly, officially, and very, very sincerely. You could just as easily have uploaded and sold your beautiful wings through your own account. But by adding them to the GamerAngel account helps to directly fund the MG3K comic effort. I did not take this choice of yours for granted and I continue to appreciate it.

Brianne, those are incredible.
I would have loved to learn how to derive and all that jazz if I weren't so busy with school and my (new!) jewelry business and work and home. But hopefully things will slow down in the near future. (not likely, improbable perhaps, but not impossible)
Keep 'em coming, grrl
Oh man. I'm waiting in the hallway for class to start. SO AWESOME. My 2 classes yesterday sounded like awesome fun (Computer Graphics [read: Photoshop class], and Drawing I). And today I'm starting a Metals & Jewelry class. Can't wait to learn new stuff!! Art is so awesome. I always envisioned college being a place where you could take all the art classes you wanted. xD Now I am SO there.
