Thank you, Gille and Launa, for jumping in here. I stopped by tonight to post some cool break throughs in frogs (as related to 3D Celestials) but I'll try to check back more often. We are so very busy right now. As many comics as novels in the works right now!

Thu Jun 18, 2009 1:57 am MG wrote: Hey guys, I just about fell over when I saw that EJ posted. Hahahah! How's everyone been? Here's my news in a nutshell: House: still needs lots of work. We don't qualify for any kind of loans so we're doing things on a hundred dollars here, fifty dollars there. But it's exciting! We got drywall to do Chris' office in the attic today, so he just has to rip out the ugly paneling that's there and take out the trim. Then we'll paint the trim white and put in the LIME GREEN paint he chose for the walls. Our house looks more and more like rainbow sherbet every day xD. Us: Katy (my sister-in-law who was living with us) has moved out (to the relief of all, herself included), but we got A PUPPY! Her name's Penny and she's a yellow lab. Right now she's about 3.5 mos. old and is adorable. And verrrrrry naughty. xD LOL. She's terrible but wonderful. And quirky, because we could not have a dog who was not quirky. Here's a pic: She's quite a bit bigger now (about twice as big) but that's her. We love her lots and lots. I took 2 classes in art school this semester and am hopefully going back full time next semester! WOOHOO!!!! That's it for me. Oh, and I am painting my studio upstairs in the attic (across from my hubby's office). It's gonna be orange, yellow orange, and red orange, striped. And one wall will be medium gray so I can judge my pictures and paintings and stuff for color and value balance. Yay! I love projects. I'll stop chattering, lol! Just thought I'd post an update. Is the forum going to be alive again? Also, where did the Windstorm Creative website go? It's just...gone? and I had a friend I was going to send your way because her writing is PHENOMENAL and witty but the site's down. EDIT: I figured out that Windstorm changed its name. LOL @ me. I found the new site! xD Anywho! I'm sure you probably already knew because you have some bigger and better scheme planned. EJ! How I've missed you. And Launa! Cris! Jen! Everyone ;_____; Come back?

Thank you for the incredible update, by the way! The puppy is cute beyond words and I love hearing you so very happy. I'm going to go post a bit now Jennifer

I am a cat person, myself, but that doesn't mean I can't appreciate big puppy dog eyes. It's so good to see you so happy, Abbie. Now... *crouching into a fight stance* back to the hunt.

Hm... and with keeping on-topic even in the Random section: What's new in the world of MG3K? We have a favicon!!! The idea of making it a Grail was Brianne's. Jennifer drew the teeny, tiny (16 x 16 pixels) thing. Notice the blue tears instead of blood? Woot!
Oh geez... less coffee for me

Summer has worked out a licensing agreement with me and she funds all the comics that her company produces. Summer has been blogging about this exciting new experience (owning her own company and completing her first projects) at: avatars.imvu.com/SummerLynComixI just wanted everyone to know. Summer is brand new to this community but she is a go-getter. She steps up, puts her money where her mouth is, and seriously logs the hours. Jennifer

Wed Aug 26, 2009 9:48 am Sunshine wrote: Jennifer, Thank you for the shout out, Mama Jenn I am proud and honored to be working with Mardi Gras 3000. You are all changing the world with this work -- not just the gaming world but the social experience on the web as a whole. The inclusive certainties of this community are unprecedented and I will do everything in my power to help spread the word and bring this dream to fruition. Now... Summer Lyn Comix (my dream come true... because of MG3K) would like to put its money where its mouth is: Just $1 (just one tiny dollar!) buys 1,600 comic book creation credits. If anyone is dedicated to seeing the Mardi Gras 3000 line of comics hit the shelves and be bigger and better than anyone can imagine, than the best way to support the brand right now, before launch, is to donate IMVU credits. This currency pays for the platform that the MG3K illustrators use to create comic book and graphic novel stories about the MG3K characters we all love. If you don't have an IMVU account already (with a bunch of extra credits lying around), go to www.imvux.com and click Buy Credits. I wasn't kidding before. Just $1 pays for 1,600 credits. An average comic costs only 100,000 credits in total from cover to cover! Yep, just $63 bucks secures an entire comic in production! But wait, my friends, it gets better! On the order screen, it will ask you for this information: Avatar Name: Verify Avatar Name: USD $: IMVU Credits: Fill it out just like this: Avatar Name: SummerLynComix Verify Avatar Name: SummerLynComix USD $: (insert whatever amount you want to donate here) IMVU Credits: (this will automatically show your donation amount converted into credits) Then click the "I agree to the Terms and Conditions." box and click the Submit button. A picture of my avatar will pop up. I'm sitting on high, red chair, wearing a purple top and black jeans, and a key necklace. You are sending your donation directly to my account. Why, you ask? Because I will MATCH any amount donated. After you send your donation, feel free to post here (or not). I will match your amount and deposit the doubled credits into the Mardi Gras 3000 account within 24 hours of receipt. So... how's that sound, my friends? Summer
