Both in the fiction and in the expandable card game, Mardi Gras 3000 has sub-sets. Trilogies and series within the brand that follow favorite characters or themes. Sometimes official writers create their own series within the brand to tackle the stories or character arches that fascinate them.
But there are also stories outside the heart of Mardi Gras 3000 that tie into the brand in vital ways and yet are, in truth, their own brands in and off themselves. These parallel lines are still protected under the MG3K trademark and they will be fully represented within the ccg, but they are also powerful stories that don't specifically follow the Immortal Terrapyres and Celestials that we've come to love. These other stories exist in the same universe as MG3K but they explore other thematic regions.
Find out about these brands (which launch in 2009 and 2010) here and find out about new ones right here before any where else.

P.S. You may notice that I am involved with parallel lines and that they are co-authored by writers who have already completed official MG3K novels or novellas. This is a requirement for official parallel lines. If you'd like to pitch a line to me... please think about it very seriously first. I am a driven individual and whether we're talking about comics, novels or animation, I can be a real workaholic to work with If you're sure, please PM me.
