I wrote the previous response before really going over the sourcebook so you will have to forgive my naivete. I do feel though that the sense of size for these weapons is secondary to the power they hold. In a little writing I am working on the Celestials are using what look like polyhedral shapes (12 siders, 20 siders) no bigger than a medium size die that pulse with malefic light (and maybe sound). I still love the image of a masqued Celestial holding its hand out, where a tiny blue and green sphere streaked with white waits to be crushed in a horrendous display of power.

*wicked grin* It is a killer image, Matt. And, funny thing is, the first photo shoot ever done with me as the brand designer, there was a pile of marbles and dice. I have always thought of d20 and d12 semi-transparent dice as strangely Celestial LOL! Can't wait to read what you're working on.
The Celestials are lucky to have you.

Just a half-serious aside: Could actual plastic like a standard d20 or d12 be charged by a Celestial? Say, for their 3D child?

Oh man Eric, think what that would mean to the Celestial child who takes up gaming in middle or high school. The bullies would not stand a chance!

Because I know writers may need it... Here are some weapons/armor/facts I found:
Celestial Marbles and Cubes can store tools (like an organic repel rope that uncoils 100 feet from a condensed adhesive sphere the size of a ping pong ball anchor, grappling hooks, organic bridges) and even matiques. Any 4D Celestial can use both Marbles and Flora, but it takes great skill to create the weapons (so if you don’t have a decent alchemist on your team, you’ll have to wait for new shipments of weapons from Council). Samples of Celestial weaponry are:
Unholy Flare (Marble) A softball-sized sphere of icy, white-blue fire that is thrown by a Celestial. Freezes clothes or skin solid upon impact with the wound roughly an inch larger around than the sphere itself. 1/2 inch deep. Can freeze off *some* holy tattoos.
Solar Flare: Gold, Blue, or Green (Marble) When a Celestial casts the marble, a gold, blue or green flare of heat and light bursts to life with the marble at its center. The flares extend like thick, blazing arms of molten heat. Gold burns. Green strikes with force. Blue temporarily freezes.
Energy Snakes (Marble) Not as powerful as Fractal Serpents, these snakes are pure, writhing energy that burns and also bites. The bites are like electric shocks.
Spectrum Rain (Marble) A torrential down pour of heavy, hot rain; thick and shot with color. Perfect to conceal or hinder enemies.
Bones to Dust (Marble) Pulverizes any one bone for ten excruciating minutes.
Flash Burn (Cube) A Flora that will give a Celestial a huge burst of energy and skill but, as a side-effect, the energy lasts for a random amount of time, and when it wears off it takes the energy it gave you and more.
Wave Front (Cube) A Flora that enhances the Celestial's static energy, making it so that, in close combat, a Terrapyre's electronics stop functioning.
Reflected Life (Cube) Casts the illusion of a second synapse column in the Celestial’s body.
Protective Nature (Cube) Can temporarily still the synapse column behind heavy armor for protection.
Many Celestial weapons were not originally weapons, but tools used on missions to collect floral and fauna samples off Hom. Some examples of these tools turned into weapons are as follows:
Biters (Marble) There was a tool that Celestial missionaries used: tiny, remote creatures that would grab a genetic sample of a creature or plant. (This could not be used to acquire Morphs.) These were the basis for the Biters, little creatures that look like silver, gold and bronze Pacmans with three rows of razor sharp teeth. They are about the size of dimes.
Particle Pin (Marble) Celestials would throw a disc the shape and thickness of a frisbee. The disc would strike a target like a small animal and become a sphere instantly. The sphere would encase the animal. This tool could be placed in a Marble. Crush the Marble. The disc is thrown. A sticky sphere the size of a tea saucer grabs hold of a Terrapyre and sticks that part of him to a nearby wall or other surface.
There are a few inborn skills that can be used as armor, such as the ability to feed some of their energy into a shield that projects in front of them. (The bigger the shield, the more energy it takes).
Celestials can also store retroviruses in marbles. Once unleashed, retroviruses would not kill a Terrapyre, as the Terrapyre’s body heals far more rapidly than a human, but it would cause an excruciating distraction for many minutes. The Celestial would also have to be wary, however. Retroviruses can also attack Celestial bodies.

I've thought about this, Eric and Matt, and my feeling about plastic was to say no... however this does not exclude the kick-butt idea of gamer kiddos storing protection and nifty attacks in their d6, d20 or d12 Not to be too geektastic, but I have metal and glass dice that I adore and they weren't hard to come by. I ven have a set of various sided babies that are pink quartz. Those were a gift, but I bet any Celestial youth (or parent of a 3D Celestial) could track down a supplier.
Launa? Thank you again! You are most helpful. That's perfect information!
