Launa Sorensen has been fascinated with science fiction, fiery women, mysterious men, alien species and religion her entire life, so MG3K was a natural fit. The insane, passionate Harper and enigmatic, driven Chariklo immediately captured her heart and creativity. Launa is twenty-one years old and lives in Washington State. She feels blessed to be involved in such a life-changing and empowering work like MG3K. Launa is the author of the MG3K books, "Chariklo: Priorities," "Ganymede: Transformation" and "Harper: Identity," as well as the stories "Immortal Waking: Harper" and "Immortal Waking: Chariklo" (in the "MG3K Player's Handbook"), and "Into the Mist" and "All That and a Box of Donuts" (in the "Crusade Battle Anthology").

Hey everyone, just wanted to give my official hello here in my author thread. I'm honored to be writing in the MG3K universe. It consumes my thoughts. I am currently writing short stories every day just to spark new ideas. New books and comics are both in the works as I type  I am thinking of posting some of my stories here from time to time (at least the stories that are decent enough to share, LOL. Sometimes my character studies are barely understandable) so keep checking back You never know when Chariklo will be getting pensive again or Harper will have another ice cream/donut craving. Launa, I was sad to hear that life is drawing you away from MG3K but so glad to read your new story in the fan fiction section, "Whispered on the Stars." I fell in love with pre-Unification Hom all over again Post stories whenever you can; they always add so much! EJ |

Thank you so much, EJ. Life is not drawing me away from MG3K, but it is certainly affecting my time on the forum. I scrape out time, just like everyone else, I'm sure If people like "Whispered on the Stars" I can definitely continue it off the top of my head. I have some Chariklo circus ideas. Or I could post a new story. I wrote this fun story about Harper on Halloween, but with the changes from Daemon to Elementals I don't know if it will be valid anymore! The creature in the story is certainly more than palm-sized  |

LOL! Go for it anyway! Just tag the story that the great big guy ate too many donuts! Or, just say that you wrote the story before the creatures changed. Or... say that the big guy is actually twenty thousand little guys pulling a Power Rnagers thing where everyone joins together... or is that Transformers?
I mean... both of those ideas (continuing the story posted *and* posted another) sound great. Or post Leather Ladybird fiction in the LL sub-board!

Moving the information, since the Leather Ladybird comic line has been integrated into the MG3K mainline! Yay! Wed Oct 01, 2008 1:37 pm Erik Egan asked recently about the characters of Leather Ladybird. Below is a series of pictures I used for mock up covers for the first season of Leather Ladybird. The first 11 issues are already being promoted. These are, of course, mock ups. The series is not yet ready to launch, so it is subject to change. Just thought I'd let everyone know now  This image was used for the "Steel Chrysalis" trilogy, the first three comics in the season. The description for the trilogy is "The depths of the Brazilian jungle hide a heinous compound where stolen children fear for more than their lives. Can a haunted Egyptian soldier and an orphaned cyber visionary do anything to help them? Or themselves?" Part One: "They meet in a cafe. Called together, the best of the best, by desperate employers. Their code names stick: Darlin'. Strawberry. Two women on a gender-blind team of professionals bent on an impossible mission. There is a little boy, mute and beautiful, held in a dark place. Will the whispers guide them?"  This image was used for "Still Alchemy", a stand-alone 4th comic. The description for the episode is "She is a cyber genius and an orphan, an elite protector running from her past. Can Strawberry reach into herself and stop the still alchemy that has become her life?"  This image was used for the "Secundus Aurora" trilogy, the 5th, 6th, and 7th comics. Trilogy Description "Somewhere, a mother and her children huddle in fear. A monster, an evil darkness, has taken them hostage. Will Strawberry and Darlin' be able to save them before they disappear forever? Can the whispers save them?" DARK WHISPERS The 8th comic in the series used a dark profile image of Angelus that isn't being used for marketing for the cover (shh.... don't tell him ) This comic is a stand alone, revealing a bit about the baddies of the Leather Ladybird universe. Description: "There is more in the world than can be seen with the naked eye. More to every plot than what we first think. More whispers in the darkness than we hear. Are Strawberry and Darlin' strong enough to see through the darkness? Can they hear the whispering?"  Neon Chameleon chronicles the "season finale" of the first set of comics. The description of the trilogy is "The mission is impossible, but the call is undeniable. Strawberry and Darlin' will risk their lives, guided by the whispers, but is this mission more than what it seems? |
