I'm honored and thrilled to be part of the MG3K community. I know that keeping my expert status will be hard work but I'm a hard worker and fast learner.
My goal with Kara and Pelucir was to stay firmly within the central mythology of the brand by exploring it (the MG3K universe) through the eyes of two characters who are outsiders even among their own outsider peoples. I wanted to add an additional layer of realism to the universe and be able to stretch my creative and emotional muscles.

You're so calm, cool and collected, Sunshine. Go read what Maxwell and Jennifer wrote on your "Crusade" thread... then post here again *gentle smile*

You're absolutely right, grrl. I do come across as calm and collected which I am, but, as Abbie wrote on her official writer thread, being so stayed isn't all that I am for sure.
Though I am thankful for my work as a producer, I often feel it locks me into logic and fast-thinking. I feel truly alive when I think about MG3K and not just my characters. I have read the entire "Crusade Battle Anthology" twelve or more times. I come back to passages again and again and highlight them with the highlighter tool in Adobe Acrobat. MG3K inspires me and reminds me that there is incredible passion, kindness, and *ideas* out in the world still. Not everything is driven by the dollar.
That all being said:
I would like to announce that I have proposed a quad of full-length comic books starring Kara Thorne and Pelucir to OHP for release at the end of 2010. These four comics tell Kara and Pelucir's back-story and then move them forward from the events in "Crusade." They are titled:
The Four Horsemen: Cost of Admission, Part One The Four Horsemen: Single Grain of Rice, Part Two The Four Horsemen: Soldiers Pray for Peace, Part Three The Four Horsemen: And It Was Good, Part Four
I'll script, storyboard, shoot and layout the comic myself, and then I hope to have Cris build my characters, Brianne do my scouting, and Jennifer do my set design. I worked with Cris and Jennifer for "Crusade" and really loved it, and I'm just totally enamored of Brianne's creative uses for props and poses, so I *must* work with her now, too.
