Code of Conduct

Welcome to the Mardi Gras 3000 Forum!

This is the Official Code of Conduct for the forum. If the rules are not followed, immediate action will be take by an administrator and/or a moderators.

Respect Others. Everyone should feel welcome, despite gender, religion, beliefs, gender, race, or orientation. Always be respectful. If posts are made that are hurtful or disrespectful, they will be addressed and edited/deleted. Flaming or harrasment will not be tolerated.

Never Post Personal Information. Keep in mind that this forum is accessable to anyone browsing the internet. Please keep yourself safe and refrain from posting personal info.

Unacceptable Behaviors:

(These include but are not limited to...)

• Foul Language. Keep your posting intelligent and respectful. Don't swear. Refrain from crass/crude words.
  
  
• Flaming. Don't do it. Flaming is hateful, unwelcoming, and unacceptable. Don't insult/threaten anyone.
  
  
• Bigotry (in any form). All thoughts, beliefs and lifestyles are not subject for attack.
  
  
• Impersonating Other Users. That includes similar screen names meant to deceive.
  
  
• Promoting or Advertising Illegal Actions. This includes breaking the copyright law. This site is taken care of by writers and designers. We follow the copyright law. Don't break it, site your sources!
  
  
• Posting Sexually Explicit Content. This board is open to younger people, keep it PG-13.
  
  
• Spamming. Keep posts on-topic. Spam will be deleted immediately, and action taken against the member who posted.
  
  
• Advertisements. This site is for Mardi Gras 3000, any advertisements for other games or requests of "Will you publish my..." are not acceptable and will be removed. If you have a question about whether a post is an advertisement or not, contact an administrator or moderator.
  
  
• Don't Talk Smack About Other Games, Designers, or Game Producers. Gamers work hard to create their games, and publishers work hard to produce them. Use respect.
  
  
• Do Not Use TXTSPK. Please write in complete words. A number of our forum members do not speak English as their first language. Be respectful.
  
  
• Do Not Write in All Caps. We're right here. No need to shout.
  
  
• Be Open to What Others Say. Be respectful always. Debating *is* allowed. However, if something offends you, remember that sometimes offending things weren't meant to offend at all. Try to work things out politely. If it gets out of hand, talk to an administrator or a moderator, but first try to keep the peace yourself.
  

Most Importantly, Have Fun! This is all about learning, making friends, having fun, and discussing the Mardi Gras universe. Enjoy yourself, and thanks for reading!
