Lazarus

Lazarus is Harper Ilaria's adopted parent. He was severely wounded in the battle that killed Harper's parents, nearly crippling his leg. He uses a cane to walk, which often frustrates the seasoned warrior. He is completely dedicated to raising Harper and her brother, John. He is one of the only people, immortal or not, who can keep up with Harper's pranks and impulsiveness and is often the only one who can comfort Harper during one of her mental fits. He is gruff and mysterious, keeping his past to himself and it is rumored that he has very powerful enemies even outside the battle for the Holy Grail. His last name is unknown.
