Amadeo is the brother of James Valesari and the leader of the Gents, a fraternal Terrapyre organization that originated in Venice, Italy. Originally born Venitian nobles, Amadeo and James organized other Terrapyre nobles into a small group famous for driving all Celestials out of Venice and destroying Outposts across Italy. He is credited with beginning Venitian Carnival as a way to mock the Celestials.
Over time, the Gents lost their power as soldiers and became little more than a super-elite organization of wealthy, fashionable, attractive Terrapyre males. While no longer soldiers, the Gents are extremely influential in Human circles. Many of the members are prominant businessmen, celebrities and politicians. As their leader, Amadeo is one of the wealthiest and most influential Immortals in the world.
Amadeo is charisthmatic, passionate and caring. He is still a powerful soldier, but he has embraced the life of the modern-day Gent. He is a well-known patron of the arts. He and his brother, James, are estranged.
