Nue is part of an Outpost of Celestials posing as performers in a masked circus. As a performer, Nue is a renowned illusionist. As a soldier, however, he is intense and driven. He is antagonistic and bad-tempered, often going after Chariklo, who is also a member of his Outpost. He does not care for Humans and generally disregards their existance, even during rumbles. He will not hesitate to attack a Human if it will help him in battle. He has a long scar across his mask from a Terrapyre blade. He lives to destroy Xie'eln and, despite being generally cranky, is a good soldier.
