Cris and I were talking tonight and she asked me to update everyone about the Crusade Battle Anthology (the first MG3K anthology) and pose these questions to everyone: Who would be interested in submitting work for a new anthology that included stories and artwork based in the MG3K universe? Yep, you read that right. Artwork too. Black and white reproductions so high contrast is a must  The stories can be any length and any topic. No limitations to whether or not they include the Grail, a battle or anything else. Just explore something in the universe. The thing that you like the most, perhaps. Maybe that could be the angle! Thoughts? And now for that update: The contributor copies of the "Crusade Battle Anthology" have finally reached the final stages. Several after-the-fact changes were made to the format and credits and so the book is being sent to the printer in NY this week. That means... contributors will have their copies by Christmas or soon  Yay! EJ |

I could finish both of my current pieces ("A Game of Chance" and "Whispered on the Stars" Though "Whispered on the Stars" I might rename and possibly write a new beginning for. It seems like two different pieces right now) If I can get my XPS in time, I could try to do illustrations for one or both. *shrug*

Cris, this is such a wonderful idea. Thank you for taking something so big onto your shoulders. It means a lot to me. Launa, that sounds wonderful! Cris, I would love to be part of this anthology just as a contributor :} That would be a joy. I could finish my fan fiction piece... and I'd love to do another piece about Elijah... not sure what yet  Maybe I could post it as fan fiction first and let it evolve? As for artwork, I'm not great, but I'd love to run some pieces by you. Not IMVU so much but some other stuff. Maybe a new angel painting or something like that? Just to mix things up |

Cris? Have you seen the images that Brianne is posting in the Carded Terrapyre section? I think it would be very interesting to include some artwork that shows that rendered artwork and IMVU model work can be complimentary. Also, the idea of a character gallery is very appealing!

You know you can count me in ! I can do some black-and-white charcoal on grey paper for you. Or I can do just black charcoal or ink on white paper. (But grey paper is SO romantic *sigh*) It's easier if I have models, but if I have a list of build types for the characters and a picture of the face to go off of, I should be okay. I can do several of those, but would need some decent advance notice as I have lots of coursework on my hands right now. If I have the information by Christmas break perchance I can do all my part then? Or at least the art part. I can write whenever. But maybe then, too. Just point me in a direction, EJ, and I can't promise a straight line, but I WILL go. Somewhere. xD |

Abbie, the book will be 5.5 by 8.5 with black and white interiors. Anything that fits within that frame is perfect Topic can be anything to do with Mardi Gras 3000. Hope that's what you need I can't wait to see what you create. |

Grayscale is fine, Abbie. Images shouldn't be posted here, publicly, as we'd like to keep the artwork a surprise Send to Cris' email which is just ckad at mardi gras 3000 dot com (trying to out-trick the spam crawlers LOL). You're very welcome to create something, Matt! Your fan fiction was very inspiring to Cris. Made her really start looking hard at what was being posted at the forum. |

Just wanted to tell everyone that I am still totally jazzed to do another anthology. I just loved working on the first one. If you've got fan fiction you'd like to do or images to create or other stories to tell, don't hesitate.
The first anthology looks just fantastic and will ship in April to all contributors. We've been messing with different printers to get the best outcome to showcase all of the incredible talent we've got here.
