We are quickly approaching the launch of the Mardi Gras 3000 brand -- specifically the National Edition and everything that supports that edition of the card game. I'm going to create a task-by-task countdown list this week but while I gather information here is a basic list of what you'll all see at launch (and even sneaking out before then *wink*): An all-new website The two-player deck "Blood Trade" (the comic) The Crusade Battle Anthology "Under the Influence" (issue one) New sourcebook (PDF and hardcopy) Finalized Player's Handbook (PDF and hardcopy) Other fiction, nonfiction, and more specifics will be added toward the end of this week. Great to see you here again, EJ. I'll post updates on my projects tomorrow or Saturday. At this point, all of the changes to the Battle Anthology are in. We're just checking the page count against the original spine width for the cover. Once that's done, we'll get them printed and out to contributors! Players Handbook will be ready to go by Saturday night. I've input all of the changes and am checking the fiction to make sure it's consistent with timeline and universe changes that have occurred since it was first written and published. The Immortal Waking stories are finished. All I have to do is the Immortal Dreaming ones. Additionally, I've shifted around my work schedule so that the bulk of my time is devoted to MG3K. Cris |

Hi everyone. Here's the list of the products that will be launching with, um, well, *launch* February 16, 2010. This includes the redesign of the website. Player's Handbook (PDF and print edition) Crusade Battle Anthology Universe Sourcebook (PDF and print edition) Real Divinity Game Journal Gamer Grrl in Small Doses: Volume 1 Together Alone Ganymede: Transformation Blood Trade (stand alone, comic) Under the Influence (first issue, comic) Living Word Prayerbook Elijah: Nature of the Beast Two-Player Deck Real Divinity Grid Two-Player Deck Case (eight decks in display) If any other items look like they'll launch on 2/16, I'll make sure to post here Here's to the next month and a half of crazy-insane hours... that will all be so very worth it. Hm, yes, Luz. The decisions were pretty much made for us. I printed a gorgeous hardcopy, 200-page catalog of all our content that came in, in 2009 (and everything expected in 2010). The launch list I posted here at the forum is what actually generated orders that was available and ready to ship. For instance, the novels "Angelus" and "Chorus" had large orders (very large, actually) as did the "Pholus" novel and the "Hylonome" comic. But these are too far off in terms of completion. Hm. Well, "Angelus" might make launch... or very, very soon after. These characters may very well always be seen (along with Elijah and Ganymede) as the "classic" or central characters because they have appeared in the Alpha and Beta releases of the card game. Above that, we were *strongly* directly (as I've mentioned here), that for the brand to be taken *at all,* it must have an edge. It must be thought-provoking with a sharp edge and mature themes *within* the existing the mythology. So focus and big themes are vital. All of this informed the launch list. Other books may be tweaked and polished before their release or they may simply be in the works Jennifer |

I gotta agree, Becky. The new website rocks. Seriously. I went to the site and just stopped and blinked. It's so different... but so good. It must have taken a lot of work. Congrats, Jennifer!
I'm so excited about launch. I remember the very beginning of MG3K (Okay... a few months off the beginning, but close enough) when we were still trying to figure out what exactly was a Terrapyre. We've come such a long way.
Cris, Brianne, Jennifer, you've all done amazing work. Thank you so very much.
