The legend is this:
Just a little more than one year ago, the self-proclaimed Big, Mean Publisher found out that the nationally-ranked MG3K CCG champion was about to have a cruddy birthday. So with only three days to go, BMP drafted an OS and created a rough deck for the Champion and saved said birthday.
The deck was the Mardi Gras 3000 Trading Card Role-playing Game (the MG3K TCRPG). There were even two sets of rules: basic rules that required no dice and advanced rules that required lots of dice. The rules were hand-written and had dancing chickens in the margins.
The Champion promptly lost the only copy in the universe of the advanced rules because she was too busy playing the awesome basic game and begging the BMP to publish it.
Then the Champion's grrlfriend stole the basic rules and typed them up and distributed them to a guy in Indiana, a guy in Armenia, and a gaggle of grrls in Moscow. They started to play online at a secret forum (cue mysterious music).
Enter the evil hackers who crashed lots of forums and wiped their databases.
Big, Mean Publisher? Is *that* how you want this legend to end?
Love, A Humble Gamer Boi
A traditional RPG (like Papa Nurgle's), a BBRPG and a TCRPG are *completely* different beasts and I would purchase and play them all. Please consider giving the ECRPG its own thread and its own chance to live!
(cue swelling, dramatic, joyful music full of hope)

Erik Rory Egan and Brianne Kathleen DiMarco... you two can *not* do this to me! A traditional pen-and-paper rpg and a bbrpg are enough. You two know my schedule. I can't devote real time to this, you sneaky sweeties. Let Mama Jenn(ifer) get *some* sleep :}
P.S. Erik, I adore your personal tag, and Brianne? I adore your new avatar. You two are just so dashing.

What could we do to help you, Jennifer, that would allow you time to launch this variant?

Huh. Um. Let me see... Send coffee (Starbucks' Arabian Mocha Sanani), milk chocolate with raisins, fruit cake, and those assorted licorices that look like this: How about that?

Erik, Brianne, and Sha - Bad news about the Starbuck's Arabian Mocha Sanani coffee: it's a seasonal coffee that's only offered around Christmas. It's currently out of stock on the Starbuck's website. The very nice woman from a local store that I just spoke with recommended checking with a local store just after Thanksgiving... not that I have any clue what an ECRPG is - but maybe I can get lessons for providing the info... if it works with the Big Mean Publisher Becky

Becky, I can help you about an ECRPG. This is a deck of cards that are used to play a role-playing game. You do not need a game master so you can play by yourself. Also, everything you need is to be included right there in the deck and once you master that deck you can purchase add-ons that are complete. E = Expandable. C = Card. RPG = Role-playing Game. Also, this is an exclusive OS designed by Jennifer that eliminates the need for a character sheet by using her trademark system of passes and stops. It would be a very good game.
Jennifer? Do you mean like Chunky with Raisins that Gille eats? A square chocolate with raisins inside? I will check the Starbucks in LA for the Arabian Mocha Sanani.
I think maybe you were meaning to be kidding, Jennifer, but too bad for that. I love your games. You are my gaming hero.

It is 8:30 in the morning. I haven't slept yet. I'm just sitting here with nothing to do.... If only I had Starbucks' Arabian Mocha Sanani, milk chocolate with raisins, fruit cake, and those assorted licorices that look like this: *sigh* If I did... well... then I'd be able to work on the ECRPG... after I finished the CCG... and the BBRPG... and give my car a tune-up. And feed both chickens and twenty rabbits. Avoid the bear spotted on the property. Grocery shop with my good looks. And eat this floppy disc for fun. Jennifer (Teresa? Thank you. That was a very nice thing for you to say. Your help with the BBRPG is invaluable to me.)

Jennifer? How will the ECRPG and the BBRPG OS be alike?

Hm. You just can't hide it, can you, grrl? You really are a closeted math geek The ECRPG (were I ever to grow an extra five arms and be awarded with ten extra hours in the day) and th BBRPG will have the same OS, actually, the Stacked v.2.0. The difference will be that the OS will be applied to physical cards with passes and blocks int he ECRPG and applied to the interaction of the multilayered modifiers in posted signatures and personal text spaces in the BBRPG. However, in theory, a player will be able to play the same character in either format, in addition to either freeform adventures or structured campaigns. But, again, EJ, though at this time I have been *asked* to create both (yes, I admit that), only the BBRPG looks viable in terms of my schedule. Jennifer
