From the EpicX core rulebook: "Weapon ratings are d8, d10, and d20, with a d20 rating being the best. A general rule of thumb is that guns are d20, large bladed weapons are d10, and small weaponry is d8. However, small handguns (.25 caliper) can easily fall into the d10 rating category."
Post ideas for specific and interesting weapons in this thread. Remember: Terrapyres can use "hardware" weapons as well as Prayers. Celestials can use marbles and flora which can manifest in whatever rating the individual Celestial has mastered (so no rating after Celestial attacks needs to be listed as it could be any of the ratings).
