Okay. So... Jennifer, do I understand this correctly? You need artwork for all these cards pretty much... *now*? So... rules are: no photographs, should look professional, filters and cool, out-there effects are fine, IMVU (with painting or other trick filters -- not plain shots) are fine, featuring carded or previously un-carded characters is fine.

Can you weigh in, Jennifer? I am sure that me, Summer, Abbie and probably Brianne and Erik, too, would love to start posting some images for you. I mean, this isn't just a neato list, right? The complete card list is downloadable from the website. This is the "I need artwork for these cards" list, yes?

Jennifer? Also, do I understand correctly that all the Celestial-only Specials need Homidin translation for the titles? And the combo Specials need Homidin as well? I'll let Cris know!

I will do whatever is needed - I can draw things with my tablet and do probably all of the Terrapyre ones. But I don't want to "hog" Maybe we should volunteer and commit to certain ones? I mean, commitment isn't my cup of tea because my life is SUPER busy, but I'm willing, if I have a little leeway on time. (only a little - shouldn't take me more than a few hours to draw up some cool ones for most of the things on the list) I'm at a retreat with my mom this weekend (YAY! Christian ladies + posh hotel + good food + not having to go to things and going swimming in the pool instead ), but when I get back I might have a bit of time to spend right away on this. I know you're bogged down with that gaming thing, Jen, so let me just step up here and help you out.

Oh, good idea about commiting and stuff, Abbie, so folks don't wind up doing the same cards or something. Also, Summer said she'd love to see some samples of what has been done so far. I mean, we all have different styles but the cards should at least compliment each other

Sorry, everyone. Have been under the weather but feeling much better now. Need to get caught up on all work but let me weigh in here (luckily, I have an very sweet admin who prioritizes posts waiting for my response!):

Yes, this is the list of card I need artwork for. But no, not right now. For the Two-Player Deck (the deck that's done), I sometimes had two or three pictures for each card and I went with the one that best fit the effect and/or the one I could find flavor text for. I think everyone just jumping in would get frustrating with a list this long so...

Why don't we wait until Brianne or I can get up some sample shots of the cards. Then every will know exactly how small these images are and what styles have been used in the past. There is room for everyone.

In the mean time, if artists would like to post their interests (like Abbie saying she'd love to work on Terrapyre cards) ... though ... even with that, folks may want to wait until they see the samples. I can put up (or work with Brianne to put up) samples of a Special, a Weapon, and an Armor, for both Terrapyres and Celestials. Maybe a few of each to show style range. Artist may want to wait for these samples before saying what kind of card interests them.

I am much less stressed about this now that I know so many people are willing to help. Thank you so much, all.

P.S. Yes, all the Celestial Specials are titled in entirely Homidin and all combo Specials are dual titled. Cris has already done many of these words, though, and they're in the newest glossary.
