I wish we could post images but this really pushes the limits on the copyright of the images, ladies. I think the best we're going to be able to do is post very low-res and/or small images with watermarks. That will be quite a bit of work so perhaps only on special occasions?

In terms of the style of the artwork, the final decision was not to use any photos but all rendered artwork and filtered artwork.

Hm. Even as write this I'm thinking about the enormous amount of work that will need to be done to sell the single cards without allowed right-clicking, screen printing, etc.

Y'know...it'd be really sweet if we had a special edition deck with characters hand-drawn by artists on the MG3K team. Me and EJ, and anyone else who does traditional artwork could certainly do it. ;-) It could be like a special add-in for a regular deck or something. Do we do those? xD

That's a great idea, Abbie! Not all the cards are computer or IMVU rendered -- some are hand-drawn so that idea could fit right into the base 420!! Jennifer? I know you're so busy right now... but will you be posting the cards you still need artwork for... soon? When?

All right, everyone. This is a list of some of the boosters that are in the National Edition that still need artwork. The artwork must be 300 to 600 ppi and 100% your work -- not Google images, folks. In the next few days I'll post a few representative examples of the artwork on some of the decked cards. There are not plain photos any more and several styles of computer and hand drawn artwork are used.

Post your ideas for pictures on this thread! I'm going to give preference to writers who have expertise if the card features his or her character, but other than that, I'm just looking for art that is dynamnic and interesting. All images are produced 2.0 x 2.0 inches square on the card. Do not add a border.

If your artwork is chosen for a card, your name will be printed on the card itself and you will receive a sealed copy of the card for free.
