Terrapyres and Celestials officially meet in 1450 AD but Celestials have been visiting Earth since the 1113 AD and Terrapyres have been here all along. Here is where we can discuss what life may have been like for these two peoples on Earth before that first fateful meeting (as covered in "Blood Trade" by Luz Del Sol, included in the Crusade Battle Anthology.

There was no contact between the Celestials and the Terrapyres between 1113 AD and 1450 AD. This first meeting is chronicled in "Blood Trade." In that story, Maria mentions an attack that will take place on Terrapyres in a few days time and that event is covered in Cris DiMarco's story "Blood and Roses," which is also in the Crusade Battle Anthology.
In terms of the story Reciprocity, (formerly called 373 BC), the events of the story were incredibly hidden and silenced. The Celestial parties involved did not allow the information to be added to the Great Archive (which would mean they could not allow themselves to be archived, which is very sad).
In terms of Terrapyres knowing about Celestials from 373 BC onward... this is basically true, as Maria, in "Blood Trade," mentions. Terrapyres knew of Celestials -- but only those Celestials who were involved in the events of Reciprocity which had nothing to do with the Grail or the Celestial culture/peoples on a whole.
Reciprocity will be published as a graphic novel.
Hope this helps.

For the sake of clarity, I've modified the previous posts and deleted two which are now inaccurate. Here is the timeline of events on Earth and Hom prior to first contact in 1450 AD ("Blood Trade").
Christ is crucified and his mother, Mary, catches his tears in the Grail. Messenger Angels take the Grail and hide it. One of the places they hide it is on Hom, the Celestial homeworld, where it does a lot of damage by displacing matter in Its immediate vicinity. The Grail continues to Drop on Hom, but because the Provinces are closed, no one outside the particular Province where the Grail has Dropped know what's happened. The Grail Drops for the first time in Ornberg. This is the Province where Ganymede and her lifepartner, Cadmus, reside. (This event is covered in Ganymede: Transformation.) The Elders of Ornberg contact the Elders of other Provinces and meet in Lux'Kaar, the only neutral territory on Hom, and the place where the Great Archive is kept. The first cross-Province research times convene at the Great Archive. The information they share includes not only where the Grail has dropped on Hom, but also on which other worlds the Grail has dropped. The only planet that comes up twice in their shared information is Earth. Missionaries are sent to all of the planets which have experienced a Grail Drop, including Earth. The Celestials who are sent to Earth arrive in 1113 AD. They may have contact with Humans, but they do not have any contact with Terrapyres. They hypothosize that Earth is the Grail's planet of origin. Over the next 300+ years, they modify their method of discerning where the Grail Drops so that they are able to locate and identify 216 regions where the Grail Drops. This information is given to Maria in "Blood Trade" in 1450. This is the first time Terrapyres and Celestials have direct contact.
Please note: The number of locations on Earth that the Grail Drops has been changed from 100 to 216. According to Jennifer, 100 is just a number, but 216 is the Hebrew numeric equivalent of the name of God, the alpha equivalent of which has actually be lost over time. It also translates across religions to the 100th name of God, which only the camels know.

Cris, I know that everyone is thinking this, but let me post it:
The mythology of MG3K began so very long ago. And, as happens, there were holes. As you work thoroughly through the sourcebook you are finding these holes but more than that. You are working with authors, outside experts, and the Bible itself to find "patches" that are thematically linked to the mythology itself. Not just "well, whatever EJ says" (no disrespect intended). This helps those of us who are trying so very hard to write *adult,* *Intelligent* and complicated (!!!) fiction in this universe. Realism in a fictional universe... what a concept!
Thank you. Truly and honestly.

Cris, thank you so much for getting all of this straight, and for posting it for us all. All of a sudden, a lot of things seem so much clearer. Brianne
