] Chariklo's primary skill is Grace, the possession of incredible fluidity and grace and/or amazing speed. Individuals with this Skill move faster than other Immortals. This is Chariklo's Human morph, as created by Brianne DiMarco for comic and story use. Chariklo is currently featured in: "Into the Mist" in the Crusade Battle Anthology.

I have always found this all-white Celestial haunting and fascinating, so I was very interested in exploring him further. If you've read his piece for Immortal Waking, you'll know that Chariklo spends a good deal of his time on Earth in a masked circus. I was inspired to use this medium for Chariklo as well as the tone of his stories by the movie "Mirrormask" (A great film, if you haven't seen it. Really YA, but still beautiful.) I wanted to go deeper, however. I wanted to find real circuses that could realistically sport Celestials in a masked/surreal setting. Of course, this brought me, eventually, to Cirque Du Soleil. If you've never heard of them, Cirque Du Soleil is an internationally famous "new circus" that aims to tell fantastic/surreal/visually stunning and emotional stories through circus acts from around the world. I wanted to share the links to some of the things I found. I know that most of them are arial acts, but my characters are mostly arialists, acrobats, and perhaps a bit of contortionists, so that's where I was looking. Triple Trapeze Act from "Varekai" (The story is a sequel to the myth of Icarus. It was really amazing. Probably my favorite of all the shows I browsed): www.youtube.com/watch?v=paHK4QxAUEwArial Contortion in silk from "Quidam" (Yes, she's wearing clothes. The costume is just flesh-toned, LOL): www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zty1Lql09P0Contortion and Hula Hoops from "Alegria" (... yes, I know. But still amazing): www.youtube.com/watch?v=ztXmzMvSXZ0Arial Straps from "Corteo" (She's not in a mask or anything, I know, but I find it... a bit hypnotizing, really): www.youtube.com/watch?v=jyrpXaBj9wY
