As of today, I believe we have renamed all of the Biblical books that have been quoted either on cards or in the fiction. The list will be in the Sourcebook (available on or before launch).
My question is this: Originally in the Sourcebook, there was a list of all the prayers that were "available" so far; however, we were going to refer people to the decks, the Living Word prayer book (which is also ready for launch publication) and the fiction. However, do MG3K writers want to have a comprehensive list of current prayers available as a download, for example?
Please weigh in on this. Thank you. Cris

I think that would be good. Though I do enjoy making up my own but I think, too, that not everyone would want to. Plus, it's nice, if you're doing a battle and you have to play several prayers and Celestial attacks, to have some of them taken care of already.

Abbie,
The more I thought about it, the more it seems to make sense. Why reinvent the wheel? I'll go ahead and compile the ones we have, then. They'll be up sometime between now and launch (Feb 16).

Right. No need to make more work for anyone - and hopefully yours isn't too much either. But once you've got the list compiled initially, adding the new ones that crop up won't be so much work.

I think it would be wonderful to have a list to pull from as well as to add to! I agree, Abbie, making up my own is really fun, but sometimes I do want something just quick and easy to smack a Clown with

I just had to share this. I asked Jennifer recently what she reads for escapism and she said that she reads the Anita Blake books. So I went over to the BN and got the one furthest back in the series I could find. It is really a fun romp and I'm liking it. But I *really* like this happened:
The sorcerer turned to me. He looked the same as he had a moment before, but the skin on my back tried to detach itself and crawl away and hide. Every hair on my arms stood up in nervous rows. Evil whispered through the room.
Richard turned then and removed his sunglasses. He looked directly at the sorcerer. The hair on his bare arms was also standing at attention. He spoke, his voice solid and real in the surreal, horrific atmosphere of the moment. "'And the light shineth in the darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.' John." With the last line, the feel of evil retreat, only leaving the faintest scent to linger like a perfume.
"Impressive," the sorcerer's master said. "So you are a true believer."

Ha! That's great! And a great verse, too. We should add something like that. Like, when the Terrapyres are dealing with someone other than Celestial. Let's not forget about the powers of darkness...and I bet they're pretty mad the Terrapyres want back on the good side.
