My rave is that Cris sent me a box of chocolates. I have never had chocolate with candy inside before. It was the most incredible experience of my life. It was most certainly transcendant. If I were a Fallen Angel, I would have been redeemed after the first chocolate with almond and vanilla inside. I felt I should write odes to each candy. My favorite was milk chocolate with orange fluffy stuff and rind inside. My brother asked me to share. I told him to go away.
I may be forced to move to America.

Some of my happy moments include...
Singing in the car with my sons, listening to them laugh and laughing with them, and when I find myself late at night listening to them breathing even though I KNOW they are okay. Parenthood is the weirdst most fulfilling thing I have ever done and I would not wish it on my worst enemy, but I hope all of my closest friends get the opprotunity.
Listening to the fury of a rainstorm while safe in my home.
Watching the light in a person's eyes when you are demonstrating a new game to them and they suddenly "get it".
The smell of baked goods cooking, I am such a carb junkie.
The knowledge that there is always someting new to learn, even when I forget that I do not know everything.

I AM GETTING A HOUSE ON FRIDAY! AND IT'S AWESOMENESSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A little excited much? xD Yes. I'm overjoyed. Chris (my hubby) and I are buying a 1920 Victorian house that is very dirty (not lived in for 2 years or more) but is also very beautiful, and we plan to put a lot of work into it to make it a very wonderful home. I can't wait to get working!
If you think of us between now and Friday, pray (if you pray) for us, 'cause we want everything to go through and we have to do a couple things in order to close on Friday.
I'm bouncing (not exactly literally) with excitement.

Chris has been doing beaucoup plaster repairs and I've been cleaning and painting, Mom's cleaning up the kitchen for me (best mom EVER lol). I've got all my colors picked out except for a couple of rooms, where I don't have decor figured out yet. :)Gonna get a new comforter and a new color scheme for my bedroom, so I'm excited! Maybe just a little. xD Haven't read the blog yet...Maybe I'll do that now...

And I shall post before/after pictures when everything's all done :)Maybe as we do the rooms, we'll see. Some of them will have multiple before/afters because we'll be doing some major renovation come January when we get a further loan to do some plumbing work involving a totally new and redone bathroom (that makes 2 instead of the 1 we currently have! YAY).

Yesh, the house is looking faaabulous. *cackle* I live with a couple of piggies (*cough cough*) but we're managing. I've got my Christmas decorations up and they're looking pretty awesome. We're having a bunch of people over on Christmas day for dinner, so that's exciting :-)
How's everyone else's Christmas plans going? Anyone going places, doing exciting things?

A foreign exchange student my family had for a year a few years ago is coming back to visit! She was really, really fun and I'm excited to see her. Besides that we're having a traditional Christmas, which is my very favorite kind. Love the Christmas traditions and lights and music. I have my little Christmas tree up and decorated in my apartment, and my santa mug on my shelf and a carol in my mind It's even snowed! Hmm. Love Christmas.
