EJ: Bad grrl. Shush. Wow, you two -- Brianne and Launa -- brave, brave souls to do the Black Friday thing. Maxwell wanted to be taken out at 8 or 9 (pm) to pick up a Lego set with his birthday money. Walmart. My mom called as we were leaving. I said: "It shouldn't be so bad this late and all." My mother responded, "Those who are about to die, I salute you." She's so intense. It was crowded, but no more so than any other weekend day, for instance. And Maxwell got a $60 set for $40 so he got to throw in an extra set for himself and a mini set for his little sister. What a good boy |

Yeah, crowd was dead here in Bremerton by 9 AM. I went out at 3 AM. My truly high femme sis from Korea not only battled the crowds with me, but managed to spend 2 hours trying on shoes while doing it. Enormous fun |

I went out on Friday with my aunt, her friend, my mom, and my brother. We started at Toys R Us.... which opened at midnight. Then we were off to Old Navy (I needed jeans bad... just had worn holes right through the ones I had) at 1am, and stood in line for two hours (outside!) because they opened at 3am. Then to lots of other places... mostly a blur, lol... until I got home to 7419 at around 8am. Thoughts for next year? Bring a blanket. Use a bathroom before I get there (lol). Bring hot chocolate. I got an iPod as my Christmas gift! Better news: It's the just-before-the-newest-version-there-is, plays video and is generally awesome, has ZIPPO scratches and was only $100 used from someone I know! WOOT! AND I got a FREE shirt on Black Friday when I opened a Sears card account. Yessss. And I'm home from the in-laws. Gosh, I love them, but it's a rave to be HOME. AND I GOT CABOCHONS!!!!!! (go look them up, it's a stone cut for a bezel set ring/earring/piece of jewelry or metalworking) They're gorgeous and cost peanuts. <3! Internet finally after a week of being at the in-laws with no internet. Missed you all. |

Congrats on the treasures, Abbie! And no internet? Might as well be in a black hole. Glad to have you back! My raves: 1.) Got another job today. Finally! I've needed the extra work for a while. Takes the job total to four, but they're all manageable. Makes me feel so much better! 2.) My most perfect little niece started walking! Took five steps to me yesterday. Know what made it worth it to her? Jewelry. She must be my niece Us Sorensen women: will work for jewelry and chocolate. XD 3.) My little brother wrote an essay today about how I'm his hero. Made me blush. It was so sweet. |

Four jobs? That's a rave? Really?? xD I have one very very part-time job, and school, and a house. And I wish I could quit my job, but we are flailing as is. xD And awwwww! Kids are amazing. I think I want 20. Ok, maybe 3. It's pay week! That's TOTALLY a rave! |

LOL! My rave about jobs is like your rave about pay week. I need my independence again! But... strangely you need this thing called rent money to do that. I can't fathom it. XD That and I'm a bit of a debt-o-phobe. Kids are amazing I always imagined 4 for myself, but I'd take any number. Another rave: The VIP gifts at IMVU have been rockin' the last couple months. Seriously. Fully furnished, nice rooms. And items without IMVU's logo splattered all over them. It's like getting a new bundle every month for free. |

RAVE: SNOW DAY TOMORROW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Which means the extra-credit project that was supposed to be due tomorrow is now at least not due till...probably Friday. Which means I can take my time & do a better job on it. That and I don't have to get up tomorrow, but when I do, I can clean the house and put up Christmas decorations and finish the cookies I started! |
