Yeah, I know what you mean! Hubby has a little itty space heater in the garage for when he works out there. I think we need a wood stove... xD
It's coming down taxis and buses out there. My rave for today (there are so many!) is that Penny was ADORABLE when I took her outside. She's never seen snow before this week. The snow was up to her belly and she was like BOUND...BOUND...BOUND...into the yard, dragging me with her and wagging her tail. Like, "LOOK MOM! WHITE STUFF!" xD T'was sooo cute.

I'm going to brag on my sis Ashlen a bit  This is a youtube of her last cheer competition. She's a base in all the stunts. She wants me to assure everyone this is one of her first competitions and one of their simplist routines (because they have to show growth throughout their competitions to go to state) But I still think she rocked Also, she apologizes for the video quality. The 2nd string cheer girls who filmed it weren't the best, LOL! I'll film one when I go and post it next time  |

Awhh thanks Launa for posting the video. As she mentioned before it doesn't have the best quality but it is fairly descent. (: That is our simplest routine, without our twist downs, scorpians, kick full basket toss & 360 squishes. But even without all of that we still received first place & state qualifying scores! (:

Am spoiled! I came home from school yesterday to find my hubby home from work early with presents, a dozen orange roses, and he took me out to dinner :-D
Also, school's out!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I finished my last 2 final exams yesterday and finished up my final metals project. What a relief to have it all done! FINALLY...

My rave: Christmas. I love Christmas. It's not all the packaging, the presents, the food...it's being with a family (now, 2 families) that loves me and enjoying the real reason for all this - Jesus' birth. I don't even care that he was born in the spring, we need a holiday at this otherwise dark and dreary time of year, and what better holiday than the miraculous birth of the King of Kings? Not everyone here is Christian, but I think maybe you can still relate.  A very exuberant side note: I have a CHOCOLATE ORANGE!!!!!!!!!!! It's a toffee chocolate orange. Haven't had one in quite awhile and boy, are these yummy. |
