Oh, Abbie? You mentioned one of my all-time favorite foods. But I've always called it Frog in a Pond. A slow-boiled egg with salt and pepper and fresh basil sitting in the cut out area of a slice of butter-fried sourdough bread. Heaven! Hey, me, too! Though I don't think my mom every put fresh basil...that sounds really great. I guess it would look more froggy if it had basil, though wouldn't it? Though I prefer my soft boiled eggs in a mashup with both the eggs and the fried bread in a cup. C |

Oh, Cris! You're so sweet to me. I was just so tickled that Maxwell played the same instrument that I do and one thing just led to another! Then I found all the talk about Jennifer playing harp and little Faith looks so much like her and I just like the idea of you'all making music to fill up your house in the woods. The sun has risen and I opened the front windows so I can smell the sea. I am eating not one but two frogs in ponds and they are smothered with fresh basil and homemade mozzarella with sun-dried tomatoes. I think this might be heaven.
Cris, thank you for saying such a nice thing. I've been told the trade off for being nice is being not so bright but I think I don't mind. I like who I am at the end of every day.
Brianne, I am so excited to hear you are learning. I sure would like to see you all do a CD together some day.

^MIRA. I WANTS! I LOOOOVE fresh mozzarella. I can get it at my local grocery store, and I practically did a little dance in the store the first time I realized this. xD It's not as good as the "real" thing, but it IS good.

So I just watched this video. Makes me -almost- wish I had cable tv so I could watch Nova and stuff again. xD www.youtube.com/watch?v=oAVjF_7ensgIt talks about how scientists picked an "empty" spot in the visible stars in space and let the Hubble expose the area for like 10 days...and how they found an amazingly complex and diverse pocket of deep space where there are literally thousands of galaxies...amazing! I think God pretty much plopped us here on this teeny tiny itsy bitsy little planet in the middle of a vast universe to remind us how small we really are.  And how BIG he is! It's such a cool video, though, it's an animated rendering of the photographs taken. And there's a 3D rendering of how far away each galaxy is! Anyway the creepy sort of sad music is weird, but appropriately otherworldly. Enjoy! |

Mira Mira, I don't know what IDIOT told you that there's some kind of trade-off. I know a lot of mean dumb people and a lot of nice smart people. Whoever told you that is just plain wrong. Smart isn't just one thing. It's not about whether you get quantum mechanics (which I don't) or have a bunch of letters after your name or whatever. You are smart about a lot of things--food and gardening come to mind immediately. I like who you are all day long, not just at the end of the day. You should be proud of your achievements, which are many. 'Nuff said. Cris |

My book has cleared 400 pages now...and counting down to the final pages...I'm almost wrapped up to the end! Probably less than 50 pages till I'm done with the rough draft!!!! |
