Hey all. I'm Angelo from LA. I work as a grip and my father was an angelologist and archeology teacher. I met Sunshine dancing at the The Mayan and then a few weeks later at the Ultra Suede. Both times I didn't even connect that we work within a block of each other but that's the LA crush.
Sunshine told me about Mardi Gras 3000 when Angel posted about her take on angels. I'm here to check it all out.

Welcome, Angelo. I'm Pip, also here in LA. You count yourself among the writers or the gamers here at MG3K?

Hello, my name is Maxwell. I have a story in the battle anthology. The story is called "Nutty Nutty Burning Bright" and stars my characters Baby Squirrel and Spike Slug. The Mardi Gras characters that are in it are Angelus and Chorus and that blue Celestial (I can't remember his name) but in the story Baby Squirrel makes fun of him.
I am the writer and illustrator of "Baby Squirrel is in Town."
I'm going to post at the Mardi Gras forum for school.

EJ,
I am making Flash games now and thank you for the welcome. I don't think I will be doing Sploder for much longer though because I think (but I'm not sure) that I'm going to be doing actual games with any music, any pictures, and any coding at YoyoGames.com. However, the avatar was done by one of my mamas, Jennifer.

I noticed on our member list that the Moscow members of The Hours gaming club have registered. Welcome, grrls! Introduce yourselves whenever you're ready. I can now say with some certainty that we have the highest population of gamer grrls of any non-all-grrl forum on the web.

Since first discovering MG3K, I have shifted to full-time working at the Shanti and spending my spare time gaming primarily in the MG3K universe with Teresa Cruz's BBRPG gaming group, The Hours. It is sometimes very hard to have worked to achieve a strong foundation of knowledge through higher education only to find that the jobs available in my community are awarded to others for various reasons beyond my control, things I cannot change about myself. This is a constant part of my everyday and it has colored how I see education today. I suppose I am now more a firm believer in trade learning as opposed to more liberal or academic degrees. Because this is my reality, I find gaming to be an incredible release. Not escapism, as I hear the word used, but rather a break. I have been known to say to my housemates that gaming is more refreshing, rejuvenating to me than sleep. It gives me happiness to know that The Hours can now be integrated into the MG3K official forum. I will let my girls (grrls?) post their introductions now. Mik My name is Mikiela. I live in Moscow where I work as a translator of college texts. I also am a general manager of billing and accounts at a techno-Eastern dance club. I heard about Mardi Gras 3000 through my lover who met Sha while playing an online MMORPG. Sha sent a two player beta deck and our group of six friends were introduced to the universe. I hold Masters in linguistics and anthropology and have offered my services as a volunteer for the construction of the Celestial spoken language (Homidin). I prefer Celestials to Terrapyres because of the unmistakable and heartbreaking beauty of the Celestial culture and the innate altruism that lies at their cores. Already, I feel very at home here on the forum. Mik

When Mik first proposed to us the MG3K game, we thought it was another attempt to sway us to some Christian activity. Mik loves religion and the rest of us here are not so interested. Sha is very much religious so that impression was there.
I love to game and have been a gamer since I left home when I was 14. I wanted to play because it was a organized group but wasn't sure about all the Living Word and angel parts. Then I explore E.J.'s blogging and she opened my eyes to something so new. I think I convince everyone else to join then.
I have really enjoy gaming with Teresa and Pip in Los Angeles and Eric and Sha from their farm. All of us in The Hours have very different lives and coming from places. It makes for interesting campaigns.
In personal: I work as a bar assist training to be a bartender under my good friend Yovie. I was a dancer until I had a problem with a customer and I did not handle the problem in a way suited to the club owner.
I am excite to start gaming here!

My name is Guine. I have worked as a exhibition dancer since I was 16. I love all kinds of games and first played a roleplaying game it was D&D.
I miss how The Hours meetings were three days every week. I look forward to them returning. Sometimes I dream that I am my character who is a Celestial male name of Hydra. I would love to be a Celestial in the RL.
I have always feeling that Celestials have a secret about their own god. Hydra likes to pray a lot. If I could summon creatures to be with me like Hydra can, I would summon a wild boar. I think they are amazing.

Post Scriptum Thank you for the spell checking button!

I met Mik and Guine in Ulan Bator five years ago on Monday. Since that day I have worked always as a dancer and enjoy my work.
I like the MG3K universe because of the Skills. I think there are so many different types of people in the world like good people, mean people, wild people, exploring people, that I think it would be simpler if all people were in only six groups for the Skills. I think it would be easier to understand why people do what people do.
My character in The Hours is a Terrapyre grrl named like me, Raelyn. She is quiet but notices things that others don't. She has a high attention to detail trait and high intelligence and dexterity for solving riddles and problems.

When Rae says exploring people she means me. I work as a dancer sometimes but mostly I go exploring. Mik gets pretty mad because I do not think about it I just go but I always come back. I have been as far north as the Kara Sea where I worked on a fishing team and as far south as the Tamar Valley where I worked in gem processing. I have been to New York City in America and to Tokyo in Japan. I read the phrase home is best and I am not sure I believe that unless home means right here with Mik and Guine and Yovie and Rae and Aidenn.
My character in The Hours is a Celestial who is female and a new soldier on Earth. She can morph and has Vanish. Her name is Mercurus and she is from Bei'sel.

I would have come to Mardi Gras 3000 much sooner if I knew there was such a character as Kathleen O'Malley the flairtender in Under the Influence. I heard about her from Teresa and hope that the comics will be available in PDF.
I came to live with Mik about four years ago and Guine introduced me to gaming. I work as a flairtender. I play a Terrapyre named Yov in The Hours.
