I might be one of the guests you've been seeing, too, Artzygrrl :-]
Hi everyone. I'm Mira and I thought it was about time I registered. I've been enjoying the forum for about a year. Thought I might see if I could help out Eliza a little. I'm not the brain most of you are, I'm afraid, but I do love to write stories and I'm totally in love with Eliena and Lynor from Eliza's book "Together Alone."
I live on Monterey Bay in California and spend most of my time hiking the cliffs and taking pictures with my trusty Canon Rebel EOS. On April 2, Eliza took me to purchase my first motorcycle. It had always been this dream of mine. It's a Ninja 250R, deep red and black with white tribal designs on the cowl part. I've only driven it twice. lol!!

Welcome, Mira! Always great to have another writer and a photographer. Pictures have inspired some great ideas on the forum. And congrats on your new bike! I hear the Ninja 250 is a sweet (and attractive) starter bike. Definitely would be my first pick

Welcome! Haha, if you think you're intimidated by the brains on this forum, stop right there. Because I am a member here. So you needn't feel too left out. I am ordinary also. Congrats on the bike! I'm jealous, a little

Abbie! There is nothing "ordinary" about you, you sweetie faker you! But Mira? There's nothing ordinary about you either -- I just opened your beautiful images of Eliena and Lynor for the rare cards.
Just so everyone knows: Mira asked if she could create some rare cards to ship with "Together Alone." We already had two cards but I've decided to allow the book to ship with two extras! Now the book with ship with the two exclusive character cards and two exclusive Celestial Specials.
Thank you, Mira, and welcome!

Hey Mira,
Canon Rebel--my camera, too. Aren't they just the absolute best? Would love to share some tips and tricks... do you photograph mostly nature or everything?

I'm so excited about the cards, Jennifer! Cris, I do mostly shoot nature. But I like adding cool effects in Photo Shop and having fun with filters.
I'll go post today's diversion!

I'm pretty much still a Photoshop newbie. I've started experimenting with filters. You'd think after thirty odd years of photography I'd be doing more with the output, but since I started out with a 35mm, I try to get it exactly as I want it in the shot--because film was so expensive.

I really like to compose my shots, too, Cris. Not just click and click and click. But I still wind up tweaking everything in PS!

Mira! I was just watermarking and posting the new cards, and I have to say... The two you made for Together Alone are beautiful! I have to ask... what does your signature block mean? Welcome to the forum, btw We're very glad to have you here. Brianne MG3K Admin

Brianne,
I am going to take a guess here: Mira's signature block is date, time and a tide mark.

You're right, Cris. Tide marks for Second Beach in La Push, Washington. I'm not a Twilight fan but I've been going up once a month for a while now after I read that it experiences the lowest tides of the coast. I love to swim in the ocean!
Brianne, thank you! I really wanted to play with the imvu figures idea and then paint over them. I love my new ebook of "Together Alone" because the artwork is slightly different images from the hardcopy I saw and in color, too! I really like the idea of Celestials being more color and less form.

And congrats on your new bike! I hear the Ninja 250 is a sweet (and attractive) starter bike. Definitely would be my first pick Launa, I wouldn't call a 250 a "starter" bike. The Kawasaki Ninja has a curb weight of 374 pounds. You have to have the muscle mass, height and weight to control this bike. Additionally, you have to be able to pick it up if you lay it down. Cris
